Do I need a permit to put on a new roof or new siding?   A Maintenance or Repair Permit is required for a new roof. A Maintenance or Repair Permit is only required for new siding if the old siding is being stripped off. 4. Do I need a permit for a garage sale?   No, but you should be aware that Chapter 158 states “no more than two garage sales may be conducted in any one residence and/or family household during any calendar year.” 5. How do I apply for a Maintenance or Repair permit?   Applicant will come to the Code Enforcement office with a description of the project and a materials list, if necessary. 6. How do I apply for a Fence permit?   Applicant will come to the Code Enforcement office to complete the application form, indicating the location of the proposed fence. See fee schedule. 7. How do I apply for a Building permit?   Applicant will come to the Code Enforcement office with plans for the building project and meet with an Inspector to review the scope of the project. 8. Do I need a permit to install a new driveway?   You need a "curb cut" permit from the Engineering Department.
