Mission Statement
The mission of the City Historian’s Office shall be to collect, preserve and document the historical records and data pertaining to the City of Watertown and share this material with the community.

- Over 350 notebooks on subjects pertaining to the Village and City History
- Maps, news clippings, photos and postcards
- Village and City Directories dating back to 1840
- Books on New York State and Jefferson County
